After years of running offices for other electrical contractors, Diana Carolan decided to open LUZ Electric Construction LLC in September of 2015. Her goal was to become the premier Minority Women owned Disadvantaged electrical contractor. Diana quickly brought LUZ to the top of its game by completing a difficult fiber project at Atlantic Barclay’s terminal for the MTA where several other contractors failed. Throughout the years, LUZ has become widely known as one of the top fiber contractors for both MTA and LIRR. Diana has also installed one of the top Myers Sounds Systems in the world at National Saw Dust in Brooklyn.
Under Diana’s leadership, Luz Electric Construction has been able to design a team that can handle the most complex residential, commercial, industrial, and public works projects. Diana feels that every project, no matter how big or small, deserves LUZ’s undivided attention. She oversees every aspect of the company, from finance and operations management to estimation and job completion.
Diana demonstrates commitment to increasing revenue, maximizing performance, and providing the highest levels of service. She is an excellent communicator with innovative ideas and strategies and is dedicated to meeting goals and exceeding expectations.
